One of the famous tourist attractions in Udaipur is Jagdish temple, which is situated in the heart of this city. Earlier this temple was called as “Temple of Jagannath Rai” and was constructed by Maharana Jagat Singh I in the year 1651. It is great fusion of Indo-Aryan art and architecture.

City Palace
City Palace is one of the famous tourist attractions located on the east side of Lake Pichola. This palace was constructed by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559. This is regarded as the largest royal complex in Rajasthan and comprises of museum, garden and many historical buildings. It is a blend Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Udaipur city from this palace. Also enjoy boating in Lake Pichola.

This beautiful garden was constructed in the 18th century by Maharana Sangram Singh for a group of 48 young women who came along with his princess in the form of a dowry.

Fateh Sagar Lake
Fateh Sagar Lake is regarded as the pride of this city and attracts large number of tourists from all across the globe. This artificial lake was constructed by Maharana Jai Singh in the year 1678. This pear-shaped lake is enclosed by Aravalli hills from three sides and is a perfect spot to enjoy boating.
